About

Now, I have to say something about myself. I really don’t know how to describe me but let me tell you the basics, nevertheless.

26 years old guy residing in Lambunao, Iloilo. I worked as an Operation Manager to a Coca Cola distributor office while his Vem’s already at the US. He’s in the process to be with her as soon. A gamer but musician by heart. Love to read books, watch movies and travel but when asked what’s his favorite pastime, he usually answer “sleeping”.

“I am a cosmo citizen.”

Just to let you guys know, I don’t have any “strict” writing education or taken any formal training. I was not personally taught by anyone (of course, except for what my high school teachers taught me regarding with subject verb agreement and some other stuff). But I love to read.

Funny thing is, there are a lot of people I hang out with that doesn’t know this part of me. Maybe that’s because they often see me just ordinary: a guy with his faded jeans, drinking booze with the misfits (as they would presume). And it’s not fair for them if I don’t fit with their preemptive paradigm. Besides, I don’t have any educational or writing achievements. Well, that is because it’s not my goal. Basically, I am a wallflower.

I don’t want to stand out and would rather be lost in the crowd. Just remain incognito.  As a result, I’m tend to be stereotyped, even by people who knew me for years. But it’s okay. In a way, that’s what I love about being me. It gave me a better understanding as I can see things much clearer in a humble perspective.

For me, writing is like capturing that essence of that moment. Capturing that passion, a special insight or an idea that seem drifting. Errrr.. That can help you forge or discover something, something even more profound and sparkling thought. It’s quintessence like music and art.

*sigh*

To be honest,I’m not really sure why I write, I just know that I do and that doing so, it answers certain need in me.

They may say I’m a dreamer.. but I am not the only one. – John Lennon

And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise.  The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.  ~Sylvia Plath

The art of writing is the art of discovering what you believe. – Gustave Flaubert
